Artist's Comments

Here's the final version of the Sonic the Cereal box. Everything done in Illustrator, save taking the cereal off the background (Photoshop).

This was done for a Graphic Design project, and I think I got an A. The professor had nothing bad about it to say, anyway, and everything good.

It's always satisfying to see a 2D design fleshed out as part of a 3D object. The edges look a bit pixelated - like it was saved at the wrong size or something. Illustrator's 3D mapping features can be a little sketchy at times. Looks good though and congrats on the A. :)

Thanks - yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Illustrator and it's shoddy 3D feature. Though, I think another part was the resolution of the original image of Sonic. Not entirely sure.

Wow thought that was real. Getting my hopes up isn't very nice *cries* but on the other hand, the boxart is superb and THAT's what I call Graphic Design. I'm actually making a sweet package in my graphics class aimed at 14 - 18's. Too bad I didn't work on a Sonic the Hedgehog one O.0. Anyway *favs the cereal*
